The included list has always read fertilisation, broadleaf weed control, crabgrass prevention, grub and surface-insect treatment, turf disease treatment and soil testing, and the first attempt at pricing it benchmarked against basic four-step feed-and-weed plans at $289 to $330 a year and costed the materials as one granular application. Both were wrong for this service. A full programme with pre-emergent, post-emergent, grub and supplement rounds is $475 to $650 a year for 5,000 square feet in this market, and the season price below sits inside that. Seasonal is six applications, the middle of the six-to-eight-visit Minnesota programme, and is six times the single-application price rather than a discounted bundle: a prepay or early-season discount is a decision to quote, not a number to publish. A single application is offered because somebody who wants one round should be able to buy one, and it is the same work on the same lawn. Above 10,000 square feet the programme is quoted on the property, exactly as mowing handles acreage: product cost scales with area and the published bands stop where the confidence does.
