Pick by what fits, not by the truck.
Rotuk Outdoor runs a trailer, not an eighteen yard junk truck, so each size says the volume it means. Compare cubic yards rather than fractions of somebody else's vehicle.
Small load
Roughly 2.5 cubic yards, about a full pickup bed. A small pile, a few pieces of furniture, or one garage corner.
Medium load
Roughly 5 cubic yards. A room cleared out, or a decent brush pile.
Full load
Roughly 10 cubic yards. A whole garage or basement cleared, or a large brush pile.
What may change the quote

Each of these is quoted from what you tell us, and none is added until it is part of the approved scope. Nothing is charged that was not agreed in writing first.
- Stairs or long carry+$40Every item travels the same distance twice.
- Construction or masonry debris+$25 per cubic yardHits the 4,500 lb weight rule long before it fills the trailer.
- Items with a disposal fee of their own+$35 eachAppliances with refrigerant, tyres, mattresses and chemicals are each charged at the facility, so this applies per item rather than per load.
- Brick, block or concrete+$75Dense enough to reach the trailer's 4,500 lb limit well before it fills, so it is priced per item rather than by the space it takes.
- Piano+$200Two-person handling of 300 to 500 lb on a one-person route. The national range for piano removal is $150 to $550 all in, and a small load plus this lands mid-range.
- Hot tub or spa+$250500 to 1,000 lb, usually needing draining and cutting down before it moves. The national range is $300 to $800 and most jobs land near $400.
- Same-day or next-day+20%A job that cannot wait for the day we are already in your neighbourhood is a route broken for it. Standard across the trade at 20 percent.
